- Only one partnership per reservation.
- The person who makes the booking must be aged 18 or over.
- We suggest a Tuesday to Monday for weekend rentals.
- You will be charged for each competition that the leotards are worn.
- The partnership can use the same leotard for multiple routines during a competition.
- Multiple leotard bookings for the same dates can be made in a single order.
- Customers will receive an order confirmation with a rental agreement within 4 working days.
- If you would like to extend or shorten a rental period, please contact us promptly. We can accommodate your request at the time if the item(s) are available for those dates, and take payment for the extra rental time.
- The price displayed is for the whole set of leotards.
- If you plan on taking leotards outside of the UK, leotards must be kept in hand luggage for security and it must be communicated by email before the hire starts.
LEOTARD HIRE IS FOR THE UK ONLY
- UK customers are welcome to bring rented leotards to international competitions.
- Any international customers can rent leotards at competitions we participate in within the UK.
TEMPORARY ALTERATIONS
Customers are allowed to make small changes as long as they can be undone before returning the leotards. No permanent modifications are permitted and repairing damaged items is not allowed.
Allowed alterations are:
- Sewing country flags when representing a National team.
- Tacking skirts down.
RECEIVING YOUR LEOTARDS
Once your order is dispatched, you'll receive a tracking number. All hired leotards will be sent to you before 1pm on the day your rental begins. Hire leotards are shipped via Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed, while any other items use Royal Mail Tracked & Signed Service. If you are not home for the delivery, Royal Mail should leave a card for collection. Please report any issues within 24 hours of receiving items and remember to inspect items upon delivery.
RETURNING YOUR LEOTARDS
You will receive all necessary return instructions within your order. DO NOT wash leotards before returning them, we will take care of that. You will receive your pre-paid return slip as well as a mailer bag within your order.
Make sure to return the leotards in time before the hire end date, ensuring packaging is securely sealed when doing so. If there are any issues (for example, withstanding courier delays) please contact us to avoid any extra charges. Please see the ‘Surcharges’ section for any information about extra costs that may apply. If anything is missed or damaged, you will be required to cover the repair/replacement costs. Please see the ‘Loss and Damage’ section, which contains all necessary information.
Once La Belle Leotards have received and checked the items, the booking will be marked as complete.
SURCHARGES
By hiring a leotard from La Belle leotards, you agree to the following charges if terms are not followed correctly:
- £5.00 per fault for minor damage. (stains or wear that require additional treatment to washing).
- £15.00 per fault for medium damage. (this includes any damage that would require a seamstress to repair).
- £10.00 per leotard if instructions to return your leotards are not followed correctly (this includes using the incorrect courier service or sending to the incorrect address).
- £5.00 per leotard for each day leotards are not returned to La Belle Leotards. (after the hire end date).
- £60.00 per leotard if they are used for an additional partnership without booking the leotards prior.
If leotards are lost or once assessed there is a major damage to the leotards, surcharges will be calculated up to the full value of leotards or leotard repairs.
LOSS OR DAMAGE TO LEOTARDS
The customers must ensure they keep all items safe while they are in your hire period. They should be in the same condition as when you received them when you return them to La Belle Leotards. Get in touch with us as soon as possible in case of loss or damage, to lower any chances of any potential issues:
- Only wear the items for time that is necessary.
- Keep items safe and in good condition, ideally use a leotard bag or case when not using them.
- Try to avoid eating or drinking (except water) unless necessary while wearing the leotards.
- DO NOT WASH leotards before sending them back; we will take care of that once they are returned.
If the leotards arrive damaged by the courier, let us know promptly, and if we determine the items cannot be fixed, we will send a replacement if possible.
If damage occurs to the leotards while in your hire period, let us know promptly and the La Belle Leotards team will assess the damage and give an initial quote for repair or replacement of the leotards, this will be assessed depending on the severity of the damage.
Major problems and significant neglect will be seen as damage, however, minor issues like crystals falling of/threads loose are normal wear and tear and you will not be charged for this.
In the event of loss or theft of the leotards, you must promptly report the incident to the police and obtain a crime reference number. In case the leotards become missing during a flight, report it as soon as you arrive at the airport and obtain a Property Irregularity Report (PIR). Additionally, submit a written claim to the airline as soon as possible within seven days and provide La Belle Leotards with proof of the claim that has been made. To prevent this happening, we ask you to keep all items within hand luggage.
La Belle Leotards will thoroughly investigate all losses and damage, irrespective of the value. It’s important we enforce that customers are fully responsible for the full value of each item, and we will take necessary action to recover these costs. All customers are also accountable for any loss of rental income due to the loss or repairs that are being completed, during the period it takes to repair the leotards, up to and including the replacement value of the items. Please see the ‘Surcharges’ section for any information about extra costs that may apply.
CANCELLATION, RETURNS AND REFUND POLICY
If you decide to cancel a booking with us, please get in touch via email at your earliest convenience.
- For any cancellations made more than 28 days before the hire start date, you will receive a full refund minus £10.00, this is an admin fee to cover the processing time related to your booking.
- For any cancellations made 14 days or more before the hire start date entitle you to refund of the full postage cost and half the hire charge, after deducting a £10 admin fee for processing the order.
- If you cancel a booking 14 days or less before the hire start date and we have not yet purchased postage for the booking yet, you can only receive a refund of the full postage cost only. However, hire charges for any bookings within this period are non-refundable.
- Once items have been shipped (up to 4 days before the hire start date), the customer agrees to pay the full hire and courier charges for that booking, defects and deciencies excluded.
Please note that refunds are not provided for early returns of the items.
OWNERSHIP
The leotards and accessories you hire will belong completely to La Belle Leotards, you will not have any ownership over them. You are only permitted to use them for your agreed hire period. You are not allowed to transfer or give away the items beyond what is necessary.
PAYMENT
You must settle any payments owed to La Belle Leotards before the leotards are sent to you. It is important to pay all amounts due without subtracting or withholding any money. If there’s a breach to the terms and conditions, La Belle Leotards is entitled to charge you up to the full value of the leotards.
PRIVACY
All information collected by La Belle Leotards is kept condential and won't be disclosed to third parties, except in cases where the items are not returned and an investigation is necessary. In such situations, information may be shared with any relevant parties to recover any of La Belle Leotards’ items. La Belle Leotards also reserves the right to withdraw the item hire within 5 working days if they are not provided with the validity of provided information.
RESERVATIONS
Making an enquiry by email or in person does not constitute booking the leotards, any bookings cannot be made without a payment and will need to have received an order confirmation from La Belle Leotards.
If payment hasn’t been received within 3 days of booking, La Belle Leotards reserves the right to cancel your order and any items will then be available for other customers to hire. When the leotards, for any reason outside of La Belle Leotards control, are at any point unavailable, the customers will be informed as soon as possible. We will provide a suitable replacement if possible, however, if an alternative option is not available to full the booking, the customer is entitled to a half or full refund where applicable.
When available, La Belle Leotards will attempt to deliver any items before 1pm on your hire start date in the event of an error or misrouting from the courier. Hirer acknowledges that delivery could be postponed due to circumstances outside of La Belle leotards directly. Quoted delivery times are also to be treated as an estimate. In such events La Belle Leotards shall not be liable for any damages, a penalty or compensation as they are out of the company’s control.
